Middle School Mental Health Assembly

On behalf of the Ed Lally Foundation, my bandmates & I had the opportunity to meet with the middle school students at Resurrection-St. Paul School in Ellicott City, MD- as we spoke, sang and shared openly about mental heath. We explored the healing power of honest self-expression, first as a full assembly, and then in small group sessions. Big Infinite played music from our forthcoming acoustic EP; DJ & Dre led creative expression; a host of St Paul community volunteers shared tools like journaling, mindful movement, and peer-to-peer & adult support; and I shared my personal story and taught meditation. Our dear friend & talented co-producer Tara DeCapite organized an amazing event!

So impressed and grateful for the school’s open-minded & forward thinking attitude. And to the students, for their welcoming spirit and honest expression. It was a moving experience.
